Virtual Orientation Program

Dr. N.S.A.M. PU College organised a Virtual Orientation Program "Sankalpa" for the II PUC students on June 28, 2021 . The program was conducted for both Science and Commerce batches. The main objective of the program was to create awareness about the courses after the completion of PUC.

Dr. Kusum Devi (Principal, Nitte College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Bengaluru) was the resource person for the Science students. Dr. Kusum Devi emphasized on the significance of II PUC in the academic life. She also explained the students about the ample career opportunities in the Science stream. She motivated the students to set academic as well as career goals and work hard to achieve them. Dr. Kusum Devi concluded her talk by inviting the students to visit the campus of Nitte College of Pharmaceutical Sciences.

Ms. Bhavya K S (Assistant Professor, IQAC Coordinator, Dr. N.S.A.M.FGC) was the resource person for the Commerce batch. Ms. Bhavya spoke about the various courses that can be opted after the completion of PUC in Commerce stream. She also stressed on the importance of professional courses like CA, CMA and CS. Ms. Bhavya explained the students about the wide range of career opportunities in the field of Commerce and Management. 

Ms. Chithra S P, the Principal of Dr. N.S.A.M. PU College, addressed the students. She highlighted on the norms of the institution and various academic disciplines. She added that the sessions by the well experienced resource persons were informative and beneficial. The Principal also advised the students to make use of the valuable guidance.
