The students of Dr. NSAM PU College virtually participated in the Karnataka Government's state-wide anti-drug awareness programme, "Operation RISE" and "Beda Bro", conducted with the support of the Bengaluru City Police. The initiative aims to make Karnataka a drug-free state by 2028.
The virtual session educated students on the harmful effects of drug abuse, the importance of resisting peer pressure, and the physical, mental, social, and legal consequences of substance abuse. Students were encouraged to adopt a healthy, drug-free lifestyle and to play an active role in creating a safe and responsible society.
The programme was informative and inspiring, reinforcing the importance of youth participation in building a drug-free Karnataka.
